About Elite Backgrounds

Elite Backgrounds was founded in 2007 by a prior law enforcement officer, private investigator and entrepreneur. Originally we established our place in the background and employment screening arena by exclusively providing our services to the Home Care sector. Acutely aware that the Home Care industry services vulnerable populations in private settings, we knew it was imperative that we exhaust every possible way to help our clients reduce their risk of hiring the wrong person. These critical factors are what led us to compile all the resources that provide our comprehensive and cost effective background reports. Today, we still have the privilege of serving our first client, along with many others in the Home Care sector. Since our humble beginnings, we have expanded and now also proudly serve clients in a broad array of other industries.
